AI Christmas Lights

A warmer welcome starts with a plan

Add a Christmas Tree to Your Room Photo with AI

Find an open corner and photograph it with the floor, ceiling and nearby furniture visible. The upcoming AI preview will help compare a tree’s look and placement; measure the real space before buying.

Choose a tree direction before buying

A tree changes more than an empty corner. Its branches occupy floor space, its lights draw attention away from other features, and its height changes the room's balance. An AI Christmas tree preview can help you compare the feeling of a decorated corner before moving furniture or choosing ornaments. Start with the view you see most often from the sofa or doorway.

The planned indoor-tree preset adds a decorated tree in visible open floor space with warm lights and a few gifts. The styles below are practical planning directions, not a promise of separate selectable presets or exact custom ornaments. The first AI flow will use fixed presets rather than free-text requests. Rendering opens November 12, 2026 in free mode.

Classic red and gold

Classic red and gold gives the tree a clear warm focal point. Repeat one of those colors in an existing cushion or small mantel accent if it already suits the room. Against a neutral wall, red ornaments can read clearly without decorating every nearby surface. In a room with patterned furniture, a simpler mix can keep the tree from competing with the furnishings.

Think about how the tree looks both lit and unlit. Metallic finishes may catch daylight differently from an evening preview. Use the image to discuss color balance, then check real ornament sizes and finishes in the room. A generated bauble is an illustration of a direction, not a product you can order.

Scandinavian minimal and white flocked

A Scandinavian minimal direction favors a quieter tree, warm points of light and restrained ornament colors. It can suit pale wood, light walls and smaller living rooms where an elaborate tree would dominate. Leave visible branches and some empty space around the base. Minimal decoration still needs enough visual weight to relate to nearby furniture.

A white flocked direction adds a pale, snowy surface that can stand out against a dark wall or warm wood. Against white curtains it may blend into the background, so judge the silhouette as well as the decorations. The preview cannot tell you how a real finish sheds, feels or performs; inspect the actual tree and follow its care instructions.

Slim apartment trees

A slim tree can preserve a route through a narrow living room or fit beside a window without hiding it completely. Check the widest branch diameter, not just the stand. A smaller footprint may let the tree sit farther from curtains or a doorway, but the real placement still needs enough clearance for daily use.

Resist choosing height from the image alone. Measure floor to ceiling and allow room for the stand and topper using the actual product dimensions. Mark the proposed footprint temporarily on the floor before ordering. If the corner is tight, compare a shorter tree or move a small side table instead of assuming the AI has discovered extra space.

Photograph the corner and check scale

Use a daytime photo that includes the floor, ceiling, adjacent wall and nearby furniture. Stand far enough back that the intended corner is visible rather than hidden behind the sofa. Keep vertical edges straight where possible. A chair or door provides visual context, but it does not calibrate an accurate measurement tool.

Remove people, private paperwork and sensitive photographs from view. Keep the corner reasonably clear so the intended placement is legible. Show the window and door swing if they affect placement. In the real room, keep exits, heaters and active fireplaces clear, and follow the tree and light manufacturers' instructions. Decorative glow in a picture cannot confirm a safe location.

What the AI will try to keep

The interior editing brief will ask AI to preserve furniture, walls, windows, floor, layout and camera angle while adding seasonal decoration. That aim is useful for a before-and-after comparison, but it is not a guarantee. Check the sofa arms, table legs, curtain edges and outlets against the original before trusting the arrangement.

At launch, the planned comparison will keep the original aspect ratio and let you review the before and after, download a concept and try another style. Start at Standard quality to assess the direction. Higher resolution gives a larger output, not verified dimensions or guaranteed furniture preservation. For a complete room scheme, continue to the decor visualizer guide rather than judging the whole room from the tree alone.

How it works at launch

  1. Show the intended corner

Prepare an authorized room photo with open floor space, ceiling and nearby furniture visible. Keep people and personal information out.

  2. Preview the tree

When AI rendering opens November 12, 2026, choose the indoor-tree preset and a quality level with its credit cost shown.

  3. Review and measure

Compare the proposed tree with your original room. Measure height and branch spread before buying, and save the concept for your decorating plan.

Planned price per AI render: Standard 10 credits · HD 20 · Print 40. About $0.13–$0.20 per Standard render when a planned pack is used entirely at Standard quality. Packs coming soon.

An AI preview of the look, not a blueprint. Small details (gutters, railings, light counts) can differ from your real house.

Frequently asked questions

Will it keep my furniture?

The AI will be instructed to keep furniture and layout, but it can change details. Inspect the original and preview together before relying on placement.

Can I specify an exact tree height?

The preview is not a scale drawing. Measure your ceiling, tree footprint, stand and topper using real dimensions; apparent image scale is only a visual cue.

Are the ornaments real products?

No. Generated trees, gifts and ornaments are illustrative. Match the general color and shape with products you inspect separately.

Can I generate a tree now?

AI rendering opens November 12, 2026 in free mode. Signup will include 30 credits, and guest free renders may be limited. Packs are coming soon.

What happens to my room photo?

The planned AI flow will remove GPS metadata and offer a blur tool before upload. Uploads will be deleted within 24 hours; outputs after 30 days or when you delete them.
